Overview

HWiNFO reports what hardware is actually inside a Windows machine and what it is doing right now: CPU and GPU clocks, temperatures, fan speeds, voltages, memory timings, storage health, and battery wear.

It is the tool to reach for when diagnosing thermal throttling, unexplained fan noise, or whether a laptop's battery has degraded. Sensor logging to CSV makes it possible to correlate a slowdown with a temperature curve.
